Nanne Grönvall
She has participated in groups such as Sound Of Music and One More Time. She made her solo debut in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 with the song “Avundsjuk”. Between the years 1985 and 2001 a total of 7 albums and more than 25 singles have been released. E g “Highland” which was a number one hit single in several countries all over Europe. It also sold gold in South Africa. Over the years she has contributed with seven songs in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest as a composer/lyrics writer. The song “Den Vilda” won the swedish contest and ended up third in the international contest. Nanne also was co-composer on “Det Vackraste” sung by Cecilia Vennersten. The song sold platinum in both Sweden and Norway. It also won a national Grammy in the category “Song of the year” in 1995.
2001: Nannes second solo album, ”Alla Mina Ansikten”, was released in the first week of May. The album includes the two hit singles ”Svarta Änkan” and ”Jag Har Inte Tid” as well as the song ”Men” that she competed with in the English Eurovision Song Contest March 11th. “Men” is written by Kimberly Rew, guitar player from the band Katrina & The Waves, who also wrote ”Walking On Sunshine” and the Eurovision Song Contest winner in 1997 ”Love Shine A Light”.
”Alla Mina Ansikten” is an album that focuses more on rock than Nannes last album. It is also far more revealing.
